Kelana Nest Camper is located in the garden of our Rainforest Nest, which is a large house with 6 AirBNB units in it.
The famous FRUIT BATS of Subic Bay now live in the tree directly above our house, so you will see, hear, and smell them when you arrive.
Upon entering the garden, you will see the camper, where we have a Queen-sized bed. The space is equipped with an AIR-CONDITIONER and a desk for remote work.
Beside the camper, our Shed has NOOKS to lie back and relax - read a book, write a blog, or work from home. There is a desk and benches for working or eating.
The KITCHENETTE is small but functional. There's an electric stove for cooking, and a couple of pots and pans. There is a toaster and a rice cooker. There's a kettle and a FRENCH PRESS for your morning coffee.
Subic Water is POTABLE. The sink drains out to a greywater system which feeds the side yard. Our soaps are all eco friendly. :)
The BATHROOM is on the other side of the driveway, between the bamboo fence and the aqua wall. This bathroom is exclusively for Kelana.
Kelana Nest Camper, with a kitchenette, shed, and bathroom is your PRIVATE HOME for the duration of your stay.
The camper has a QUEEN BED and ample pillows and sheets. Towels are provided for each guest.
The BATHROOM is across the driveway. The WATER PRESSURE is strong, and there is hot and cold water, and a bidet!
Our LIVING ROOF keeps the space cool, with cozy nooks for reading, blogging, or enjoying the treetops and fruit bats. Wake up to nature's sounds, fresh air, and the rainforest's gentle symphony.
The KITCHEN includes SELF-SERVICE BREAKFAST. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast of homemade sourdough bread, peanut butter with cacao, eggs, bananas, and our exclusive Mindanao coffee blend. The WATER is potable, and most residents drink from the tap.
This house is equipped with two FIBER INTERNET providers and STARLINK backup for continuous online access. Because we live in such a woody area, sometimes our internet connections are disconnected by monkeys or falling trees.
The ROOF is a nice spot to chill in the daytime, and features a couple of swings, and we place hammocks out there when it’s not raining.

Kelana guests can access a nearby POOL for a fee, and a LAUNDROMAT is available just a few blocks away. There are a couple of CONVENIENCE STORES and a small EATERY just up the hill from our Nest.

We live 20 minutes from our Rainforest Nest, and our office is just 2 minutes away, but our HOUSEKEEPING staff will also be around during work hours. Feel free to approach them for any assistance you might need.
Our village is home to mostly FOREIGN RESIDENTS who enjoy the peace and quiet of Subic Bay. They are quite friendly and may approach you for a chat. Please be nice to them! We like to maintain a good relationship with our neighbours.
Rainforest Nest is not just a retreat for humans—our nosy neighbors, THE MONKEYS, love it here too! These mischievous critters are always up for some monkey business.
A FRIENDLY TIP for our nature-loving guests: keep your food indoors and out of reach when the MONKEYS are around. They're quite the opportunists and love a good snack! Remember, it's best NOT TO PROVOKE or challenge these cheeky creatures if they get close. And most importantly, please AVOID FEEDING them any food—let's keep our wild friends wild!
