Driving here from Manila:
Take NLEX to SCTEX to Subic Bay, and at the intersection make a left towards the Subic Airport. Cubi is the housing area above the airport.
Commuting from Manila:
Take the Victory Liner bus from Cubao to Olongapo. From Olongapo City get yourself to park and shop via tricycle. You can take a taxi up to Cubi.
In Cubi, coming from town via Tarlac Street, take a right before the chapel on Zambales Highway, and we are the 1st house on the left. Coming from Acea/Edgewater Resort up Zambales Highway, we are the 6th house on the right.
400 is the white house with the aqua wall. There is a pineapple marker on the road in front of the house (Garden Nest, down the hill, also has a pineapple marker) Park your car in any of the front parking spots. For groups with more than one car, please park your second vehicle at the waiting shed across the street and down the hill.
Piti Nest is the black steel mesh door on the right side of the driveway.
Don’t mind the barking dogs- they are just doing their jobs. They won’t harm you.
If you are arriving at night, please be warned the forest is pretty dark! Don’t be alarmed, we’ve got 3 different security agencies patrolling the area, and there’s nothing too dangerous out there. :)

Open kitchen and a little garden inside the bathroom was great!
Our whole stay was a positive experience for us. Atmosphere and vibes were warm, especially the lightings. Open kitchen was great, and the little garden inside the bathroom made us feel we're still connected to the nature. Overall, the place is really what you call a hangout place, a retreat, and an escape. Not just the home itself, but the whole neighborhood as well. We were able to see the monkeys on the road, and view the flying bats on the roof deck. I definitely recommend this nest, and will definitely come back next time when we travel to Zambales again. :) Thank you, Tamara!
It was a fun stay!
For me it was a fun stay. Great location away from things but close at the same time. Playful monkeys, beautiful flying fox bats add allot to the atmosphere. The interior has allot of creativity and functionality with a bohemian surf feel. The outdoor kitchen is great for light meal construction and having an evening drink or morning coffee while listening to the jungle. Breakfast whole grain bread with a banana, egg, coffee and calamansi lime juice was perfect. Netflix worked well. Overall a good value and memorable.
